Description of Duties/Essential Functions Benefits Supplemental Questions
Under the general administrative direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Programs (SPSA), is responsible for the overall administration of the mental health services at the Illinois Youth Center- Pere Marquette; conducts individual, group and/or family psychotherapy utilizing evidence based therapeutic techniques; evaluates treatment methods and programs; performs the function of "on call" mental health professional/crisis team leader on a regular basis; implements policies and procedures related to mental health services; receives clinical oversight from the Chief of Mental Health Services; supervises staff.
Minimum Requirements:Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to a doctoral degree in psychology from a recognized college or university supplemented by three (3) years professional experience in Psychology. Requires thorough knowledge of the theories and assumptions underlying the field of Psychology, employing Agency's rules and regulations covering the field of Psychology, application of Psychology to social and emotional deviation, mental disease and rehabilitation of children, adolescents, or adults, theory of both normal and abnormal Psychology. Requires extensive knowledge of techniques, methods and principles followed in Clinical Psychology.
Requires licensure as a Clinical Psychologist by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulations.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
